cmddotexe is a 33 year old who has worked as a sysadmin for an animal charity for the past several years.
Primarily interested in Linux, hacking and gaming (but also now discovering the delights of cooking with proper food!) this blog is his little corner of the Interweb.
The name “cmddotexe” comes from the Windows file cmd.exe which is the Microsoft Windows command line interpreter. The author thinks that any sysadmin worth their salt should be able to perform common tasks using the command line instead of the GUI (of course, a real sysadmin should be using a *nix shell, not a Windows command prompt).
To quote a line in the NMap source code…gui’s are for wimps.
